Scientific cooperation between Ass. Prof. I. Spiliopoulou and Professor H. R. Goetteto prepare a bilingual publication with comments of the letters of Friedrich Thiersch to his wife Amalia.

The original letters will be published in a new edition, with an introduction by Dr Hans Martin Kirchner (Gauting), archaeological and historical commenting by Professor H. R. Goette and I. Spiliopoulou. It will also include a translation in Greek by I. Spiliopoulou and images mainly from travelling editions of that time.
