Evrydiki Antzoulatou-Retsila, Emeritus Professor

Evrydiki Antzoulatou-Retsila was Professor of Cultural Studies at the Department of History, Archaeology and Cultural Management of the School of Humanities and Cultural Studies of the University of the Peloponnese. She was also the first Dean of the School.

She studied history, archaeology, ethnology, museology and cultural management in Greece, France and the USA., as well as music (piano, classical singing, theory).

She has been Curator at the national Museum of Greek Folk Art in Athens, Assistant Professor of Museology at the Department of Archives, Library Science and Museology of the Ionian University, and Professor of Cultural Studies at the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpretation of the same University. She has taught, besides Greece, in Italy, the USA and Australia and she has planned museums, exhibitions and museum educational programs.

Her research interests focus on the fields of cultural studies, museology and cultural assets management and she has published relevant monographs and articles in Greek, English, French and Italian.
