The registration of first-year students after passing the entrance examinations is carried out by the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, by submitting an online application to the special Information System of the Ministry within the time limits set by a Ministerial Decision for the admission of new students.

In order to complete the registration, the successful candidates or persons legally authorized by them must submit, in a second stage, to the Department's Secretariat the following documents:

i. The online registration application form, as printed from the aforementioned information system of the Ministry.

ii. a photocopy of their identity card, as downloaded from the online application form.

iii. One photograph.

When applying for registration, applicants for admission must have with them their identity card or other public document proving their name and exact date of birth.

For the children of Greeks from abroad and other special categories (athletes with distinctions, foreigners-foreigners, etc.), the deadlines and the necessary supporting documents are laid down in a relevant circular of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sport.
