DHACMR is committed to providing high quality studies to its students, in accordance with the academic, teaching and research character of the curriculum as well as the established mission and strategic planning of the University of Peloponnese. Subsequently, the Department's Quality Policy was formulated with the following main objectives: to be in line with the European and National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, to ensure the quality of the courses offered, the research work and other services, to promote excellence in terms of ethics, and to promote the linkage of the curriculum with research and the labour market. 

The main features of the Department's quality policy, which constitute its commitment, are the following:

  • Maintaining and promoting the vision, mission and privileged position of the Department in the academic map of the country, through strategic planning of activities and preparation of annual action plans.
  • The compliance with the principles, standards and quality assurance guidelines of the HEA and with the current national and European institutional framework.
  • To actively pursue the development of a culture of quality, both among members of the academic community and in its relations with its stakeholders, with the aim of continuous improvement.
  • The code of ethics and conduct that follows.
  • The transparency and public information on its actions. 

To implement this policy, the Department:

  • Formulate a meaningful and innovative academic curriculum, which is both modern and flexible. In addition to providing a robust educational and knowledge base, the curriculum aims to connect the Department with society and the labour market, as well as to increase the absorption, mobility and social contribution of its graduates.
  • It identifies the learning outcomes of the curriculum in accordance with the National and European Qualifications Framework.
  • It adopts a policy of rewarding the excellence of its students.
  • It supports the teaching and research activity of its faculty members and promotes the link between teaching and research.
  • It follows internal procedures aimed at the continuous improvement of the teaching and research work carried out in it, as well as of the other services it provides.
  • It cooperates with the MODIP of the University of Peloponnese for the annual review and internal inspection of the undergraduate study programme
